We were proud to be awarded this multi package project for the Kirby Group. We were procured to demolish all internal structures within a large building and construct and newly designed state of the art facility.

To date we have undertaken the Scaffold, Demolition/Strip-Out,Solid Partitioning, Glazed Partitioning, Suspended Ceilings, All Floor Coverings, Decoration, Fire Stopping, Pre- Plumbed IPS Panels & Cubicles, Second Fix Carpentry, Security Door & Wall Installation. Diamond Drilling, General Building Works,Civils (Access Haul Road).

Our main contractor relationship and strong work ethic has enabled us to become a key partner within this project and we continue to assist with further packages as the projects develops.

Broadsword were pleased to work with a solid management team from Dawnus to complete this new build school with a high quality finish in a short time frame.

We undertook the Screed, Partitioning, Plastering and Acoustic Ceilings to a finish that was complimented by main contractor and client alike, we were particularly pleased with the comments regarding the plastering works due to the amount of natural light entering the building.

After completing a full refurbishment of a newly acquired office building the broadsword team were finally able to move into their new office space in early 2014.

The new facility provides us with a new meeting room inc glazed entrance, seating for 8 and presentation capabilities, a breakout area and large kitchen to provide all staff with an area to relax and dine. A fully functioning gym with changing rooms including his/hers showers and drying room – for the more active members of the team! male and female toilets and six new multipurpose offices complete with glazed partitioning and acoustic ceilings/ wall absorbers and ceilings rafts provided by our friends at OWA Ceilings.We are now fully settled in and making the most of the new space…

Broadsword were proud to hand over Portesbury School, Camberley to the main contractor on programme for the grand opening in September last year.

The stunning new design was welcomed by staff members and pupils equally.

This was our largest education project to date with a completion value in excess of £1.25 million.

Services we were able to provide for this projected included, jumbo stud acoustic partitions, Gyptone ceilings installed to provide a sloping finish at 8 meters high, traditional suspended ceilings, external cladding and all wall finishes.

Splashpoint Leisure Centre in Worthing was completed for Morgan Sindall.

This flagship project for Worthing Council was completed on time to a high specification finish, with the added challenge of the environmental considerations of a high humidity area.

This facility included a 25 metre six-lane pool with diving, health and fitness centre, indoor and outdoor pools and a dance studio.

Broadsword undertook the Fermacell Partitions, H2O Surface finishing, Specialist Acoustic Render, Cladding and bespoke SAS metal ceiling systems.

Broadsword were proud to be awarded a turn key package for a local new build school in conjunction with Osborne and an award winning Architect. Another educational facility that incorporates a high level, detailed finish installed around a Cross Laminated Timber frame.

Our experience and expertise within the field allowed us to support the main contractor with a large proportion of the construction works, incorporating Brickwork, External Oak Cladding, First & Second Fix Carpentry, Screed, Suspended Ceilings, Dry Lining, Plastering and Specialist Acoustic Paneling.

Broadsword have been awarded a multi trade package to construct the new academic and music blocks at Chichester University for Willmott Dixon.

We have to date installed the Metsec framework, completed all screed, installed the internal partitions and are underway with the external insulated render.

Currently we are on programme to complete all works and handover to the client in the summer of 2016.

The project continues to be used as a flagship example for the Southern Construction Framework.
