The much needed extension project of Castle Hill Primary School in Basingstoke comprised of the construction of a new two story building housing 7 classrooms, a Learning Resource Centre, main hall, toilets, and a reception area. In conjunction with our established client Osborne Construction we undertook the specialist fire protection works on this £2.7m project. Our works included specialist fire protection work to all risers, 60 minute fire compartmentalisation to all communal areas plus 60 minute encasement and installation of 60m fire doors. A fully compliant Rockwool specified system was installed. This process was managed using state of the art Bolster reporting and upon completion a FIRAS compliant certification was issued to client. 2-3 FIRAS accredited operatives completed the project.
